Night shift Glucose readings

Hi. Your readings don't seem too wild. Do you have a question or are you just looking for feedback on the readings...coz on their own, they don't tell us very much. Expand.

The op was posting in the what was your FBG this morning thread as he works night shift his mornings are different to most so he opened this thread so those on night shift could post their readings at a time more relevant to them.

I'm sure he would welcome any comments and advice you would like to add

Thanks John. I would only say that the readings are okay, and ask if @majnoon is on any meds and if he is on a particular diet. Also are all the reading being recorded in relation to food eaten?

I'm not on any meds and my readings are done when I get up and when I have eaten, for instance my reading after my meal tonight was 7.5, my 7 day average is 7.1 which I'm happy with

The post meal reading looks okay to me too. A lot depends on what it was immediately before eating and whether it has gone up more than around 2mmols 2 hours or so later. I really would advise eating before and 2 hours after to see what's happening in relation to particular foods. Just wondering if you are cutting carbs, as avoiding certain high carb foods could bring that average down a bit still.

i finished work at 2 am this morning in bed by 3.45am my reading at 10am was 6.0 other days
this week have been mid to high fives and have been finished work and in bed by 12 midnight
