no stress this mormig just started feeling unwell then the head ache just hit me like a ton of bricks waiting for a call back from nhs direct never had the watering eye be for though.
Relieved to hear that you have called someone who can give you medical answers and I am sure they will get back to you soon. It's scary when you don't know what's going on. I don't feel too good myself this morning but am sure it will pass. Not sleeping too well didn't help...so humid last night. ....don't be worrying about me...I just need to get to bed a bit earlier cos sooner or later it catches up with me. Glad that you will be seeing a doctor....I hope he can help and that some answers come soon as to what exactly is wrong so they can start dealing with it for you. Big hugs right back at ya

It's probably the pain making your BG go up so don't panicBg down to 5.5
....am sure the doctor will have some answers...and stop flapping...I am not going to ;fall ill'...fit as a flea me ...just going to PC World to get a new keyboard for my laptop...catch up when I get back. x...in the meantime...chillax and stop worrying ...your levels are back where they should be now

What she did bang on about was my diabetes "you don`t need to test after meals only befor" yes i do "you need to eat more high carb foods" no i don`t "if your key tones were high i would send you straight to hospital" er hello you didn`t even test them
i just gave up after that will tough it out till i see my doctor on thursday for my blood test results.

You could have told her that taking painkillers on a regular basis for headaches can cause the headaches. I used to get cluster headaches, and series of brief but agonising one-sided headaches together with watery eye are classic signs. As far as I know there is no specific diagnostic test for cluster headache, but it sound to me far more likely that "stress", which sadly is often medspeak for "can't be bothered to look further than standard bloods". Looking at the NHS website (I can't see how to do a link on the new-look website, but here's the url: http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/cluster-headaches/Pages/Introduction.aspx ) these are indeed the classic signs. Also cluster headaches are more common in men that women and in smokers than non-smokers. Triptans seem to be the current preferred treatment in the UK, though in the US I read it's Verapamil. I myself found sumatriptan didn't help against cluster headaches, though it did against migraine, and that the best thing was an NSAID such as ibuprofen or naproxyn.
It's crazy....there doesn't seem to be any pattern to them and they hit you so fast. What did you have for breakfast?...I know you usually have oats and I'm wondering if they could be the trigger even though you were fine with them before.
Okay...that's one possible cause eliminated....on with the quest....
The big rise in BG has to be significant to all this.....it makes no sense but your gp needs to know about it
