Nightmare.

Went back to my doctors today about the head aches and i had an attack while i was with her so she saw the pain i was in, she examined me and told to wait for the ct scan,checked my blood pressure that was fine, my temperature again fine,checked my key tones again fine, she has advised me to stop driving until this is all sorted out.
I have been signed off for a week and still have to go back on thursday morning, and as a passing shot was told i have limited neck movement probably due to arthritis in my spine all though it could be due to the headaches i don`t know but she was a right little ray of sunshine ,i`m still waiting for the results of my sleep test and and when i got back home there was a letter saying i have my ct scan on thursday after noon.

Well thats good news about the scan....at least then they can start to figure out whats going on and making you have these terrible headaches
 
Hi all well last night was a nightmare i had a head ache for 3 hours all down the side of my face to my jaw line and in to my neck nothing i did would relieve it , all so had the watery eye bg went up to 11.9.

Called nhs direct and they sent a paramedic who checked me over and well i`m still ticking, went back to the docs this morning and he has put me on Tramadol 50 mg capsules and he wants me to have another go at the injection i tried last week and didn`t work
as for the bg rise he said that when you get a head ache the brain releases a chemical in to the blood stream he did say what it was but i can`t remember and that can cause the bg to rise, he is all so going to referr me to a neurologist and ha s sighed me off for another 2 weeks.

Hope they find some answers for you ....that rise in bg can't be good for you so they need to get these headaches under control
 
Hi all well went back to the docks for my blood test results and they all came back normal had the start of a head ache this afternoon but so far the tramadol tablets are keeping it at bay went to the hospital this afternoon for the ct scan now i have to wait 7 to 10days for the results.
 
Hi all well i'm still getting the head aches the tablets are helping but not stoping them even getting them during the night now just got to wait for the ct scan results and the sleep test results

Hopefully they will come up with some answers soon to either get rid of the headaches or at least make them managable
