When people who know nothing about the LCHF diet tell me I'm killing myself being on it. I was killing myself not being on it!
What brand of Almond flour do you suggest? Where from?
Thanks in advance.

I don't buy almond flour. It is just a slightly finer texture and double the price of ground almonds.

So I just buy the ordinary cheap ground almonds that most supermarkets and even smaller shops sell for cakes and baking. I also usually buy the shop's own brand, and had never had a problem with it.

A third vote for ground almonds! :joyful:

Ground almonds it is then! Will have to look for large bags, if that's possible. I suppose if I want it finer I can blitze it with a hand blender.

I didn't know that @carol43 thanks. I will have to be careful!

And I'm yet another who opts for ground almonds for baking. I've never had any issues with it during the three and a half years I've been using it.

I buy large bags of whole almonds when on sale and grind it myself in a food processor. Works fine.

Lidl's do bulk (salted) almonds, quite reasonably. Bit of a faff, but I rinse off the salt, dry on a tea-towel then whizz in batches. Seems to work.
