hi, diagnosed 4 months ago or maybe 5 now I dunno, anyway.... I hurt my back midweek and have gone from doing lots of exercise to doing virtually none, im still working but not lifting etc, im low carbing and my bgs are always between 3 and 5 I was looking forward to my hba1c in july, I had a couple of slices of brown toast and i put my bg being 9 down to that but ever since its been hovering around 8-9 im still eating the same, the only thing I changed is not exercising

could it make THAT much difference about 5 on average higher??

Thanks
Andy

It certainly makes a big difference to mine Andy. After a 60min cardio session, I average a drop of at least 3 or 4.
Don't rush the back injury though, better to rest and tolerate a few highs than exercise too early and risk further injury.

It absolutely does make a difference
If my bgs are a tad higher than it should be a quick walk with the dog sorts it out pronto
As Mo says look after your back and when its better you can soon sort out the bgs again
