It's also known as caribou starvation.it's not solely related to rabbits, it's that they re emblematic of very lean protein.
Sometimes, when I'm feeling a bit peckish, I sit down and open ..........And even if you did take it off topic...it is your own thread![]()
You're welcomeSitting back and enjoying the show......

Strangely, meat- only eaters report the opposite. It may be one of those strange paradoxes. People who've reduced carbs can often report not fancying various carby manifestations they used to adore.I really can't imagine a diet void of fruit and veggies, how miserable meal-times would be.
@NoCrbs4Me what is your experience ?I really can't imagine a diet void of fruit and veggies, how miserable meal-times would be.

Many, myself included, didn't change to a lowcarb diet because it appealed to us. We did it for our health. The discovery that lowcarb could be immensely enjoyable came later. You may be right, but a plate of food void of veggies doesn't appeal to me Geoff, but each to their own.

Anyone who restricts themselves to things that appeal is limiting their life experiences. Don't get me wrong. I love veggies, but can see that I could possibly grow not to miss them.

Quite nice pan fried in lots of butter.. avoids the low fat problem too.I love rabbit but it is very low fat. I used to breed/rear my own meat chickens, ducks and geese and used to do swapsies for rabbit and venison - much as I enjoyed rabbit it isn't a very satisfying meat.
Myself included. I thought you were alluding to my statement earlier in the thread where I said I could envisage going meat-only. That won't happen tomorrow. You can eat veggies on a low-carb diet Geoff, many members here do and they are careful to choose those that are lower in carbs.

As a boy, I often enjoyed rabbit baked in a pie. That's obviously not a protein-only meal !Quite nice pan fried in lots of butter.. avoids the low fat problem too.

Whatever. Always an argument. We can find anything we want o on the internet.I don't think that's how GNG works. It's demand driven.
