Hi
@qtpi4show and welcome to the forums.
The active ingredient of farxiga is dapagliflozin.
The flozins have been getting a lot of scrutiny recently because although they help diabetics reduce their blood sugar by making them pass sugar out through urine, they also seem to have beneficial effects for non diabetics with kidney and heart issues. Farxiga (dapagliflozin) is a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor for managing high blood sugar in those with type 2 diabetes. Studies demonstrate that Farxiga has the potential to expedite weight loss; however, how much and how quickly vary. This article discusses Farxiga's impact...

It has some unpleasant potential side effects (eg urinary tract infections) so I personally wouldn't touch it unless it had been recommended and prescribed to me by a doctor.
