just thought I would let everyone know I have had and very much enjoyed some low carb noodles from Lidl. 5g carbs per half pack. They were in the refrigerated section and looked and tasted very much like fresh egg noodles. They are actually made from fish but you would never know. Made a lovely chow mein with them, 99p per pack.

Thanks for this I buy noodles made with konjac flour - bare naked protein noodles which are only 1g of carb per 100g - pack is 350g but share with OH who has a larger portion. They are smelly and need to be thoroughly washed to get rid of smell and then added to stir fry. I think they taste just like noodles and absorb flavours of the stir fry. I also use gluten free soy sauce kikkomans which is very low carb you don’t need much and is 2g of carb per 100mls which would be 40% of the bottle - a glug suffices! Last batch bought from ocado but think in main supermarkets they also do konjac flour rice and spaghetti. Not tried rice but liked the spaghetti. They are more expensive than Lidl ones though at 2quid a pack so must pop into Lidl!

search your online supermarkets for konjac. That way you know what you are looking for when you go in store.
