have just been to diabetic team as rising hb1 now 8.5 and on max sitagliptine and metformin didnt take to glycazide or pglitzone quick wt gain ,bmi 30 so not fat enuf has to be bmi 35 fornice gyidelines.I was advised to half my portions and get used to being hungry for the rest of my life ! diabetes isnt fair and its suprising haw little food we need to live on,not suprisingly following this advice i was upset and have woken up every night starving!! i dont know if ill be able to keep it up ive always struggled with my weight ,does anyone know if we can get byetta privatly,they didsay i was obviously insulin resistant and it would be good for me HELP !
