Hi all , I was diagnosed with T2 at the beginning of April this year, where my HbAc1 was 84, and my weight was a little over 18 stone.
With the help of a weight loss app , oodles of invaluable information from this apps members. Information such as the importance of monitoring carbohydrates, sugars , general diet, and tools that help monitor one's progress. For me, a weight loss app was key to my success, along with a blood sugar monitor. I also read up on drinks, foods, and herbs that help lower sugar levels.
My bloods were taken on Monday this week, along with a few tests for my diabetes review at my GPs surgery. I weighed in at 14 St 4 lbs. Today, I contacted them to get my HbAc1 result ; it stands currently at 35 . They haven't classed this as remission as I am to have another review in 6 months. BUT, I'm chuffed to bits.
