I really do hope u have a better night tonight Brett , let us know how u get on during the night good luck x

I hope tonight goes okay Brett. Please don't lose confidence in your pump (I don't know how long you've had it). As mentioned before, if this happens again do a temp basal reduction of 50-60% for a few hours to see you through the night rather than detach completely. I know it's a real energy sapper having to wake in the night after an exhausting day just to test but it will give you peace of mind and if the tbr is not enough/too much you have the opportunity to correct. It can be a bit of guesswork with tbrs but we all learn from experience (a couple of times a week I have to do a tbr of 50% for 5 hours through the night so I wake up at a good level. I only know this through testing though).

Just panicked, and wanted sleep. never had a low last so long, ever, had pump about 9 months, will do a tbr next time, so im having.at least some insulin (hopefully wont happen again) live and learn.

We've all been there. I disconnected the other day while having a hypo in the 2's. I was trying to work out how to do a tbr (which I normally do without any trouble) but as I was hypo it just didn't make sense. I ended up disconnecting for 30 mins but then had hypo hunger too. Bad mistake. Also didn't think to check my pump once reconnected and later discovered that I'd actually managed to do a tbr of 100% for 4 hours while hypo (my pump defaults to 4 hours on a tbr unless you change it). Luckily I spotted it after an hour or so. Oops.

5.4 now! from 7.8 in hour 4~5 from bolus, was expecting a drop but maybe not that much. My basal rate currently on minimum aswell. Been 0.05 since 9pm and will be till 1 am, suggesting the bolus works for 5 hours in me.

Have 15g carbs then to see if it gets u back up to 7. Ur i:c ratio might be too low at tea which is why you're dropping afterwards.

Dont forget Brett that althoughyou say you are on min dosage of 0.05, you can still do a tbr if necessary (but a pain in bum!!!) which would give you less.

Thats good to know, especially having the minimum amount for a few hours, weather I may need more/less sometimes.
Feel quite happy with those results :)
