BS this Morning 5.9, lunchtime 5.4 two hours after said excursion from the guided path 10.3

Not happy with myself is an understatement

Oops. Don’t be too hard on yourself tho it happens to us all sometimes. Speaking from personal experience

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt , will not doubt have a large collection in different colours before they stick me in my box.
You just have to ignore , go right back to the proper diet and you will recover soon enough. If it happens again, get walking immediately !

All good advise but being good all the time is not all that easy. The odd mishap is no reason to be too hard on yourself. Just don't make a habit of it!
 
Don't beat yourself up. I don't eat very low carb but combine lowish carb (100-130g) daily with low dose gliclazide. Even though I have more flexibility with carbs than a very low carbers I still found myself in M+S foodhall today picking up all the cakes I can't eat! It's a horrible thought to think that ahead lies a lifetime of self denial and restriction it's not surprising that anyone falls off the wagon from time to time! You'll get back on soon enough. I wouldn't worry about it.
 
Thanks all back on the wagon -low carb (ish 100-120 carbs) BS av 5.6 across the day so still happy :)

It's a bit of a cliche. but we fall down so that we can learn to get up again.
