Good morning, I’ve recently changed insulin from humankind M3 to a basal bolus regime. I started on 1unit per 10g of carbs. Im just wondering what kind of ratio other people are on ?

Hi,
Every one is different and due to that I have different bolus ratios depending on the time of day.

1 unit of insulin to 10g carbs is a common starting point.
You may find this works perfectly (or near perfectly ... no injected insulin is as good as a healthy pancreas) for you or that you may need to tweak it.
As @delmcp says, we are all different and some people find the ratio needs to be different for different times of the day.
Like so much with diabetes, the only way to tell is trial and error ... and lots of testing.

Good luck.

Have you been told to treat your novarapid with carb ratio?

Hi. Yes, most people are started with this ratio and I've stayed very close to it for most of the time.
