Several times when I have picked up my novapen 6 it has come apart and the plunger retracts fully. Apart from lacking a reliable way to fix the part which holds the cartridge, this wastes a lot of insulin getting the plunger far enough advanced to prime a cartridge wich has been in use for some time.
Tonight I ejected the last units from an old cartridge (not enough for the dose), unscrewed the needle, opened the pen, removed the cartridge and then discovered there was nothing for a needle to screw onto.
Is it only me, or are these of very poor quality manufacture ?
