im quite interested in getting one but not sure how to go about it. Can you get one prescribed or have to buy it separately and change the prescription to insulin cartridges instead I'm assuming. ?
I currently have quite a few spare pens atm so would I need to wait to use all of then up too?

If your already using the NovoPens then the cartridges you use now will fit the NovoPen Echo, don't worry about using up your spare pens, if you want the Echo just get one and keep the other pens as spares as you do now.

You can ask your Dr to prescribe the pen or ask your DSN (if under the care of your hospital clinic) if they have one they can give you.

Okay, thanks for your help.
I have an appointment in a couple of weeks for hba1c results. Hopefully they'll be able to sort one.

Hi
My nurse gave me one and then wrote out a prescription so that I could get a spare from my doctor. I was only going for a meeting with her and said I'd quite like one as I'm sensitive to insulin and she handed it to me there and then. It's a fantastic pen and feels a lot nicer to use. It also shoots in quicker which helps when I'm out and about.

Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on one. I really like the fact you can do half units as well as having the memory function
