- Not being able to eat as many chocolate digestives as I used to.
Same time? If you're on a mixed insulin a couple of times a day you can take extra fast acting at meal times. I do this with Humalog MIx 25 and Humalog Lispro.

Novomix contains a fast-acting and an intermediate-acting insulins, Novorapid contains just a fast-acting insulin, if you've not been instructed by your HCP's on how to use both then you need to contact them and ask for their guidance.

Hi. If the use of the two insulins becomes a regular thing then you might want to discuss moving over to the basal/bolus regime which means a 24 hr insulin and a rapid e.g Novorapid. This would still involve just two insulins as at present but provide more flexibility for mealtimes.
