Numb 3 fingers

Help me
I have been type 1 for 30 years for the past 4 weeks I’ve been waking up with numb and tingling thumb and two fingers.
It’s takes me ages to get to sleep and I’ve been not sleeping properly.
I’m really worried.
Hba1c 6.2 always good control.

Hi @Flukes and welcome to the forums.

I am guessing you are assuming the worst (ie some diabetic complication) but diabetics get non diabetic issues as well (eg carpal tunnel but am sure there are many others).

Have you spoken to your GP about this ? What about a physiotherapist?

Have had my fair share of weird aches and pains but so far they haven't been diabetic related.
 
Sounds very much like carpal tunnel syndrome to me, i had surgery on one hand years ago, still have it mildly in the other. We are not able to diagnose so best to see your dr.

Carpal tunnel affects the 1st-3rd fingers and the inside of your 4th finger. I would speak to your docs, they can investigate to put your mind at rest and find out what it is.
