I have my annual review with Diabetic Nursie on 25th but the results of my recent blood test for this appointment are now on-line .. so I have had a sneak peek. Compared with my numbers at diagnosis on Feb 7th, the results show:

    7 Feb
    HbA1c 98 : Random BG 12.5 : Weight 106.1Kg : BMI 34 : BP 149/101
    Chol 7.10 : HDL 1.29 : LDL 4.86 : TC/HDL ratio 5.50 : Trigs (not tested)

    21 May
    HbA1c 40 : Random BG 5.2 : Weight 84.7Kg : BMI 27 : BP 105/66
    Chol 3.60 : HDL 1.66 : LDL 1.64 : TC/HDL ratio 2.17 : Trigs 0.66

I am not sure yet whether these numbers constitute reversal, remission or whatever .. I'll decide after I see what Nursie has to say on 25th. In the meantime, though, I would like to say that my progress to achieving these numbers is down mainly to my wife and family for their endless love and support .. and to all the friendly folk on this forum for their help, advice, positivity and wise words.

Excellent results. Just shows how effective LCHF and Intermittent Fasting is in reducing blood sugars. I have an appointment with the diabetes nurse on Tuesday, but my HbA1C is only 44. I think it would be lower if I had started LCHF and fasting earlier.

I think your nurse will be seriously impressed with your numbers. My nurse was amazed at me reducing from 99 to 59 in three months, so your nurse is going to be blown away by your reduction of 98 to 40. Great reduction of weight and blood pressure too!
