Nurses appointment

So had my first nurses appointment since i moved back in october,i have been struggling to loose weight and i broke down when at my diabetic check today the nurse could not have been more supportive. I just feel diabetes is taking over my life when that shouldn't be the case.
 
Hi @susan96 I sympathise exactly with how you feel, it can be overwhelming, do you know what's making you feel like this ? I try to view times like this as temporary as it will pass but talking about it and why you feel this way will help to reduce these feelings, big hug :)

Hey,i just feel like i am over stressing about my diabetes as well as my sugar levels being a nightmare lately. Thanks for your advice.

Try and find something you enjoy doing, whether it's walking/exercise, or just some pamper time, if it alleviates the stress you are feeling then that will help your blood glucose levels, sadly stress can play havoc with this.
 
Hi. Can I ask what your diet is like? Are you taking too many carbs at the moment which could probably explain any weight gain? Go for fats and proteins rather than the carbs if the diet needs to be tweaked.
