I do not have diabetes
Hello :)

I am a 24-year old nursing student specializing in diabetes. I am not diagnosed with diabetes, I just specialize in diabetes. The diabetes was the subject of my bachelor's thesis and now it is the subject of my master's thesis. I am already a registered nurse - I used to work for nearly a year in Children's Nephrology and Pediatrics department and for last year I have been working in Neurology Department. I am looking forward to working in Children's Diabetes department.

Glad to be here :)

Hi and welcome to the forum
Best of luck with your masters, you will probably find that most people on here will disagree with most of the advice given by the NHS on diet so I look forward too see some of your posts and comments
Keep well stay safe JJ

Thank you very much for your warm welcome! It took me more than two weeks to go back here :( - too much work and on top of that I spent days and nights doing my research.

I want to say that I am not blind to some no-life NHS guidelines and I can see there are some things that need significant updates. But at the moment I am here more for reading and learning rather than for disproving any official protocols.

I really appreciate reading your stories. And I like the red theme of the board :)

P.S. It is Bristol where I am looking forward to work soon.
