Oedema/Edema

Good evening everyone, I hope everyone is well I have a question about Oedema....

Since Sunday 6th Feb I have been waking up with super thick eyelids (looks as if I've been punched in the face) as well as my feet having a rounded appearance on top and they swell so much I can't put them into my shoes or trainers. I also can imprint my finger into my legs and feet and the pit marks stay there for a measurable amount of time. I have been checked over for a blood clot which thankfully was negative and I have now been on water tablets for 11 days, aside from the need to urinate a tad more frequently there has been absolutely no difference in my situation and I still have swollen feet, legs and eyelids of a morning, it does dissipate throughout the day but not much . I understand that this can be an effect of being T1 but I really don't know what avenue to take now. It's really getting me down in the dumps and I have not been myself for a while now. I've stopped socialising as much because I'm bothered by how I look and feel as well as just being generally exhausted being diabetic (we all know that feeling). I'm waiting to have kire bloods taken at the doctors but that's not until 14th April. Has anyone else experienced Oedema and if so has it gone away? Thank you in advance

Are you physically active? , at least moderately. If I sit around too much then I get pitting oedemain the ankles and shins. Apart from keeping an eye on the salt I need to do a daily walk of ca 40 mins to prevent my situation from getting worse. Heart disease is the source of my issues.

Yes - associated with T2. Basically raised BG equals oedema for me. It has reduced a lot since getting my BGs back to normal levels. I also get it from naproxen which I have to take sometimes.
