A dictionary definition of Misinformation is "To provide with incorrect information" ie to say/write/claim something which isn't actually true.
Quoting from the episode guide:
Malone is fully vaccinated and has worked with the US govt (incl Tony Fauci) for years (decades?). He is hardly against the Covid vaccine, but is aware of its limitations etc.
So, which clinical trial result or other verifiable fact in the public domain which Malone cited do the 270 critics and other critics consider to be vaccine misinformation and misleading?
In fact, claiming in an open letter that Dr Robert Malone's appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast propagated vaccine misinformation is an act of misinformation!
Here's Joe's video response to the controversy, (although he gives a misinformation warning, since he said Joni Mitchell sang Chuck E's in Love when it was actually Ricky Lee Jones!): https://www.instagram.com/tv/CZYQ_nDJi6G/

There has been quite a media storm recently about the Joe Rogan podcast, esp the episode when he interviewed Robert Malone MD. I wonder how many of the 270 "coalition of scientists, medical professionals, professors, and science communicators spanning a wide range of fields such as microbiology, immunology, epidemiology, and neuroscience" who signed an open letter, or any other people who have labelled the podcast "misinformation", have actually heard any of it.Quoting from the episode guide:
Dr. Robert Malone is the inventor of the nine original mRNA vaccine patents, which were originally filed in 1989 (including both the idea of mRNA vaccines and the original proof of principle experiments) and RNA transfection. Dr. Malone, has close to 100 peer-reviewed publications which have been cited over 12,000 times. Since January 2020, Dr. Malone has been leading a large team focused on clinical research design, drug development, computer modeling and mechanisms of action of repurposed drugs for the treatment of COVID-19. Dr. Malone is the Medical Director of The Unity Project, a group of 300 organizations across the US standing against mandated COVID vaccines for children. He is also the President of the Global Covid Summit, an organization of over 16,000 doctors and scientists committed to speaking truth to power about COVID pandemic research and treatment.

Malone is a medical doctor, clinical researcher and vaccine expert. He seems to convey facts precisely and doesn't make assumptions or accusations or go beyond the known facts or make sweeping generalisations. The facts he quotes are the results of clinical trials or info in the public domain which are all open to verification. He also eg: describes how the spike protein interacts with human physiology, which sounds plausible and could certainly be verified, but I haven't done so. Some of the things he said which I did verify look fine.Malone is fully vaccinated and has worked with the US govt (incl Tony Fauci) for years (decades?). He is hardly against the Covid vaccine, but is aware of its limitations etc.
