Okra Hello does anyone drink okra

I am a type 2 Diabetic this info is for anyone the same. Hello I am type 2 and have been for 5 years now I was told about drinking Okra and had a go I can not believe it my sugar level has fell to 6.0 in the morning and day time s it is 7.4 at the most 8.0 after three days of drinking it I stopped taking my pill s It works try it Buy some Okra from your veg shop use three small or two large cut the top off and the bot slice it down the middle put it in a glass of water and soak it overnight first thing in the morning drink it all in hours your sugar will fall Regards Keith.
 
Yeah. I read an article recently about Okra (otherwise known as ladies fingers) and it lowering blood sugars by soaking it in water overnight, then eating the Okra and drinking the liquid.
I have tried to buy it in well known supermarkets and Vegetable shops but cannot find any.
 
@Liam1955, I think it depends upon where you live for availability in supermarkets. In Birmingham, where my youngest son lives, it is freely available but not in the north east.
You can get it frozen as well so try the frozen sections.
Also, Is there an Asian supermarket near where you live as they will almost certainly stock it.
