Oh dear. The BBC have spoiled the whole Olympics by putting Trevor Nelson on again :thumbdown:

Well that's that then. Two brilliant weeks but now we'll pretty soon all be back to the normal dumbed down dross we have to put up with nowadays. Thought the closing ceremony party atmosphere was spot on. Highlights for me were Floyds Wish you were here, The Who and especially Russell Brand doing I am the Walrus

Star act of the night was Eric IdIe, tremendously funny and a true glimpse of British comedy at its best

Overall a spectacular 16 days from start to finish and have to admit I had a tear in my eye when the flames went out.
