rowan, I've documented on here several times how my bloods came into line when I got my diet (and exercise) into shape. I didn't experience a slow, downward slope on my graph, but more a level line, then notches downwards. It was almost like my body fought and fought to maintain the higher levels, then gave in, "picking" a new lower level, and restarting that exercise. I think others found this too.
If that's the case, take heart from a renewed stable state, it could just be your body getting ready to "give in" to a new lower you.
Hopefully your fasting levels will react in the same way. If you have made significant progress when you go back in a few weeks, I'm positive your HCPs will be less inclined to go down the insulin route.
Thank you, yes, I think that's happening to me too and it makes sense, there's a lot of changes for the body to get used to.
Both my BG and my weight stay the same for a week or so then just when I'm getting disheartened they drop down for another week or so and all the enthusiasm comes back
But as long as it's all on a downward trend that's ok with me
