my nurse is the same, she asked if I pinched my skin when injecting and when I said I did she told me I shouldn't, I told her I felt more comfortable doing this and she told me off saying I shouldn't and it wasn't necessary. I mean what's it got to do with her anyway, my way works so what's her problem, It's not her having to stab herself numerous times a day! and when I went to see a Locum doc a few weeks back and told her I was type 1 she asked how long I had been diabetic, I told her 2 years and she then said "oh your more type 2 then needing insulin" (just because i had developed it in my 30s). I told her I had had the antibody test that comfirmed it was T1 and she shut up, she had never met me before, didn't have my notes so what makes her think she knows more about me than I do myself I am sick of the different advise from these people, so much that I have cancelled my annual appointment with the nurse and will only see my consultant. I want to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about, not people who just think they do as I probably know more than them, and I'm frightened I might one day clobber one of them, someone should tell them diabetes doesn't make you stupid and thick so not to treat us as if we were
