High and low sugar levels!
Running a bit low for a few hours, 20g carb, still low, 20g carb, still low, etc.
Then eventually it decides to take off into orbit!
Then the battle to get it back down 1 inj, nothing happening, another inj, etc.
Some days you just can't explain it!

What is your basal..? Attempt at pooling experience… & yep it messes up for me some days.

Was thinkiing my basal was bang on lately tbf. (14u tresiba btw)

Did you check the lows with a finger prick?
It has often been mentioned that CGM lag is longer when recovering from a hypo.

I didn't blood test. I'm fairly confident most of the time with my CGM. My body signals tend to confirm.
Yes 10 mins delay, so 30 mins after glucose I'm expecting to see a rise.
Just one of those days

I see 20 25 mins after a BG test. I trust your in the right ball park.. Though they can lag a lot slower if low.? Even a BG test can reflect behind a hypo recovery for me.. But hey, when driving with the DVLA. So I hear you….

If you feel your basal is bang tidy..? You know your body… I respect that… (more than you need to know)

Could it be a hidden carb in what you ate?

Agree some days you can't explain it - however it's always nice to know, but you really have to be one clever detective to figure it !!

It's the frustration of it. One minute battling to get it up and then you realise a couple of hours later that you must've took on too many carbs and your then battling it back down.
Makes me angry tbh!
Can be so random some days, pretty sure it's varying insulin resistance with me.

I don't always finger prick but if my hypo recovery was taking longer than expected, I would definitely double check the readings I am seeing in the graphs.
I have seen 45 minutes delay on the for a otherwise reliable Libre using xDrip to detect a hypo recovery. It's as if sugar is held back from interstitial fluids during recovery. So it is easy to over treat a hypo if you only rely on a sensor,

@Zinadane , you might find this “sciencey stuff” interesting…
