I've just realised that it has been just over a year ago that I was told I had T2 diabetes and how devastated I was to be told this but now think it was what I needed as it gave me a kick up the **** to change my lifestyle. I have totally changed my eating habits and lifestyle around. I've lost over 3 stone in weight, dropped 3 dress sizes and eat smaller, healthier meals now. My Hba1c started off at 90 and is now 36 and my bg stay mostly in the 5 range but occasionally creep up to the low 7s. I have a lot more energy and stamina now than what I had a year ago but still find exercise difficult to do due to my disability but I do my best.
I don't think I would of got here as easy if it wasn't for all the advice I've received and read from you guys, so many thanks for being there giving advice and encouragement to myself and others.
