I wonder whether this was intended just to get a reaction ? Bit like posting on AA forum that you've just drunk a bottle of Scotch ! Odd
One, yes, but six is downright piggish. Long may you suffer.
Let see what myfitness pal says:
6 Creme Eggs
Calories 1080 kcal
Fat 40g
CARBS 171g
Nobody is saying don't have a piece of cake Tom but would you eat 6 then post on a diabetes forum ?I dunno, I get sick and tired of people who know nothing about diabetes giving me disapproving looks and saying 'You can't eat that!' when ordering a huge piece of double chocolate fudge cake. I usually say 'Can't I?' whilst simultaneously jagging myself with 8u Humalog.

I want one too.i want a creme egg
this dosent really add anything to this thread i just want one
Oh man (and sorry for possibly derailing the thread) this pisses me off to no end. People who have no clue telling me I shouldn't drink diet coke being a diabetic. I fancied a dessert the other week, so I had a pre-emptive novarapid insulin shot - she literally put her head in her hands and shook it. She is a close friend so I was gentle with her haha but I hate people telling me how to manage my condition when they clearly don't understand it. The whole idea of basal blous is 3 meals = 3 injections, 17 meals = 17 injections. That's what makes it so good.
I still don't think to this day that she realises just how upset with her I was haha.
Rant over
PS This post wasn't directed at anyone here - I presume most diabetics understand diabetes
You obviously haven't found the right kind of choccie! What about Thorntons continental - lol! Right now I'll probably just stick to a handful of peanuts - salted as I like to live a little on the wild side! A glass of wine would be nice too!Still. I'd probsbly limit my creme egg intake to 5. Now 6 is just gluttony ;-) And yes, I inject alot. My personal rule for snacking is over 20g carbs, take a shot.
Crunchies are good but they're not the best! Although I could probably eat one right now as I'm starving and the earliest we can eat is 7pm when the other half gets in! Must get off this forum and start cooking! This is when I really miss my what was once daily glass of wine! Lol!I could eat a crunchie.

Nooooo! It's got to be the Alpini or the diplomat! Perhaps that's what pushed me over the edge lol as I received the most enormous box at Christmas so I ended up giving some away to the kids - there were too many even for me! Must stop posting - this forum is my new addiction!Had one of my wife's thorntons just instead.
Dark chocolate, soft caramel centre.

I don't even think the medical profession understand it and that is why we are all in such a pickle
