Ok trying not to freak out. Just injected my 21 units of lantus in my thigh and think I injected in a vein. There was blood and now the site is sore. Is this dangerous?

Hope not ! happens to me quite often ! Hurts like hell too lol !
 
I bleed sometimes too and the blood trickles down my leg. My thighs have bruise marks at some of the injection sites.
 
Don't worry, I get bleeds fairly often. Maybe once per fortnight. Won't do you any harm other than maybe a bit of bruising.
 
Yep that's happened to me too, told my nurse and she said to change the injection site as it would be absorbed too quickly, so I now inject into my bum !! Takes a while to get used to it but lots of fatty tissue there so gets absorbed nice and slowly..
