Great to know this is over for you. You will be in my thoughts during your recovery.I would like to thank everyone who, during the last few months, posted advice and support in such a positive and friendly manner. Much appreciated.
Having read 5.2 - 5.4 over much of recent times I was a mite suspicious of the hospital machine reading 7.2 BG which then, very rapidly, became 6.4 and then 5.6 (that’s more like it) although, given the fact I was operating on zero sleep and a surfeit of stress, who knows ? Lol.
I can confirm it is/was a painful experience and I’ve spent half the night wandering between the bathroom and the bedroom trying to get comfortable!.
But now it’s done so, to any who read my previous ramblings, or contributed, thanks again!
Modest too LOLI don’t know about the fighting but lol..nor, come to think of it, the fit part...
Thank you

I’m sure I will be able to.They say operations and pain are character building but anyone not undergoing it is talking ******** I reckon.
Best Wishes for a speedy recovery but you are allowed to drag out the incapacity to wash and dry dishes a bit
(if you are allowed to)!!
Please don't stop the ramblings now you've had the op!But now it’s done so, to any who read my previous ramblings, or contributed, thanks again!
Thank you.So please you got your op done, you workd really hard to bring your numbers down. You have been amazing. Hope you're feeling better soon.
Ah, if only. Please don't stop the ramblings now you've had the op!
Hope you'll feel better soon to enjoy the rest of your sick leave like a holiday!
Something like this is perfectly doable while recovering, even in your own living room. Looks like a holiday to me!Holiday is for fit and well people,
My holidays involve long plane flights, ancient ruins and mysterious temples..Something like this is perfectly doable while recovering, even in your own living room. Looks like a holiday to me!
its not a small op. All your abdominal muscles have been rearranged and moved and separated, and its going to take time for them to recover. Its quite a rigorous procedure. There will be much internal bruising too, which is invisible. And general anaesthetic can take a week or to to get out of your system. The more you rest now, the quicker you will heal. And any lifting will strain those muscles!!!Thank you.
Can’t exercise now for 4 weeks so worrying about food and weight and all that. Sounds like recovery, for something so relatively small, may take a while.
Ah, if only.
Holiday is for fit and well people, I’ll just be moping around the place feeling sore lol..
So..just like I usually do on a holiday lol
I’m trying to take it easy but it’s very hard not to do normal things.its not a small op.
