Optifast in the UK

Hi
I am travelling to the UK in two weeks time and plan to bring Optifast with me. I use it for both my Diabetes and gastric band as after 23 hours in the air food will be difficult. I have heard you can only get it on prescription in the UK so will I be bringing in an illegal substance? and maybe I need to bring extra supplies if it is not available. Hope someone can help me. Thnaks

Don't worry about it. It isn't an illegal substance, bring as much as you need, because you won't be able to buy it here.

I've looked into it, there is nothing different in OptiFast than any of the other 200kcal shake programs that you can buy over the counter.
