Our girl shed ...

Pets are asleep early tonight, bet he's in the Kings Head it's more of a man's pub I think.I already mailed Liz at 5.15, she was very touched, she said she will consider inviteing us to the party at the palace next year when she will be 90, silly me curtsied even though I was on mail:rolleyes::rolleyes: enjoy your rest

Don't "do" royalty.....you can ask her over to the,shed if you like, but I shall be busy....
Well guess the animals ere asleep early cos it's been pretty dull all day....must've thought it was bedtime......was going to pop over on my way home but decided best not to disturb them.....so I'll try and get over to see them tomorrow....
@satindoll how can you tell if the pumpkins are ready? Believe pumpkin pie is nice but you can also make soup? :confused::confused:
 
@Sable_Jan , just a quick pop in left my chockie here somewhere, mmmmm Ah there it is, fallen down the side of the chair, I guess I should be grateful its still here, anyway to tell if a pumpkin is ripe slap it and if it sounds hollow it should be ready then again the stem above may be going hard and brown it is another sign its ready, and it makes a delish soup cook like squash enjoy. must rush have to give the poochies their supper, tomorrow peeps.
 
Ooh, the animals are loving this breezy sunshine.....was giving Punch a hug before and Jem asked if I'd like to ride him....told him I'd be up for,anomaly cruelty if I tried .... :O ... He says they're really strong but I still couldn't do it....probs not be able to get my.leg over anyhow.... ;)

Lost track of what I was going to say now... Made some baked scotch eggs with the girls gifts.....don't tell Doris and Mabel it's pork round them....had another of (was it?) Poohtiggy's sugarfree jellies and cream for aftwrs. One of pumpkins sounds ripe but wasn't rave enough to pick it cos stalk is really quite green and strong. Got a few windfalls and found some more big juicy blackberries ... No time to cook them but checked shed cupboards,and we've got the makings of a crumble or strudel...

I went round the charity shops today , started to look for my hat for the palace party ..
Wonder what the street music will be ..

Anyway great aunt pooh , I received your mail and card , but really you can get off your knees now :joyful::cat::p:hilarious: lizzzz

I am not telling Doris and Mabel , they would be very alarmed ..
Pumpkins sound lovely .. Lots we can do with the pumpkins ..

I would love to be able to ride a horse , or donkey .. But I would be a bit scarred , but they are such beautiful animals ..

Pumpkin soup with a touch of cumin ! Very nice , I would also use ginger and a red chilli , all blended of course ..
With a few pumpkin seeds roasted, with a spoon of cream fresh .. Wrong spelling there :cat:

Just had a quick flick round with feather duster so it's looking very tidy. Also left a pile of Mojo mags for any music fans to flick through. Went to charity shop today and got some lovely throws for the sofa or for snuggling up in when it gets chilly. Have put some strawberries and cream in fridge, be quick you know what certain visitors are like
 
Just popped in to borrow a dvd, will return it tomorrow, looking really clean and tidy, oooh gnoff gnoff gnoff, just couldn't resist some of the strawbs and a bit of jelly and cream, yummy, will have to leave before I pig out, naughty naughty Satindoll.

Ooh, which one did you pick? Mostly horrors.....
Couldn't eat another thing...had a (normally) reasonable tea...two breadcrumbs Plaice with small can beans....only AFTER putting them in the oven did I see 30g carbs per fish!! *** :eek::eek:.....now thatay have been ok had I not then shuffled remainder of a bag of liquorice which I'd been doing fairly well at just eating a couple of sticks.... Ok, did my test thinking okay maybe,an 8.6 , nope a PERFECT 10 !!!!! Now down to 6 something but had soya latte not long since and I think it's swelled all that liquorice....feel like a balloon
Think. I should've popped over to shed myself...pre sweeties and had a few strains n cream....
