My highest A1C on your measurement system was 124:/ my last one I think was 74
That’s a great reduction! I spent far too long at around 12% (we’ve not long changed to the new numbering system, and I’m only just getting to grips with it), are you still working to bring it down?My highest A1C on your measurement system was 124:/ my last one I think was 74
Ok so what steps are you now taking to lower your A1c?

Just checking my sugar multiple times throughout the day to correct my blood sugars accurately. I spent years basing my corrections simply on how I felt
Do you carb count and take the correct insulin ratio?
Indeed! Over the years I’ve just memorized the carbs in most foods haha
There’s also a school of thought that suggested it’s the best treatment in conjunction with insulin for T1s too. It’s certainly worked for me.That’s fantastic!
For T2s, we follow a strict low carb diet to lower our A1c to avoid complications later on.
Perhaps you can tell me - what advice were you given as T1 to lower your A1c?

They basically just said to monitor my sugars consistently and take my insulin before I eat and not during/after
How do you model for a perfume company? Do potential customers have to sniff you?I’ve completed my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in London.
I’m a semi pro tennis player and model for the top perfume companies and luxury clothing like Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Lacoste etc.
I’ve modelled for all of them.

You're doing amazing. @LordReptilia Hope it's during and after meals you're talking aboutThey basically just said to monitor my sugars consistently and take my insulin before I eat and not during/after
@NewTD2 I agree, following a LCHF way of eating is great for everyone, with or without diabetes and no matter what their occupation.I read somewhere that low-carbing is the solution for lowering A1c not just for T2s but also for T1s.
But I want to know if low carb diet dangerous for T1s edging on hypoglycaemia?
Me too!I’m registered with several modelling agencies I’ve know for more than 20 years or so!
