Overtaping a Dexcom G6 sensor/transmitter

Can you overtape the entire g6 sesnsor (not using a cutout)? I am looking for a way to make it more waterproof to wear under a wetsuit. I would love to be able to get readings either on the receiver or my cellphone (on land of course) with the sensor taped. I'm considering this tape - Flexifix Opsite.

Hello @mzwibel and welcome to the forum, the best thing to use is a tegaderm plaster which would cover and protect the entire area, however take caution removing it as it can peel off the whole sensor if not done very carefully.

Not sure what the tegaderm plaster is (I'm new to this). Would you have a link to this? And would it cover the whole sensor? And could I keep it on for 10 days?

It’s a 3m product you can generally get them on eBay, just make sure it’s large enough, I have used them in the past and they could last 10 days but would look a bit tatty around the edges by then.
