I have been on Ozempic for a number of weeks now. I completed 4 weeks at 0.25, 4 weeks at 0.5 and am my 2nd week into 1.0mg.
During the first week I experienced some mild nauseas, in my second week a small bout of constipation, and then side effects free until 2 nights ago. 3 days after my second dose of 1.0 I suffered horrific nausea at night and vomited several times. As I am in the carribbean on holiday, I put it down to food poisoning and had a day of complete rest and no food. Then last night, after managing to eat a little, I was rudely awoken at 4.30 with terrible nausea which resulted in another bout of vomiting.
I am starting to think this new nausea and sickness is due to the recent dose increase.
Does this sound familiar with others? How long do the symptoms last if this is the case?
