A dietary change would also help with control, have you reduced your carbs intake? That does sound encouraging. My hba1c had gone down to the low 40's, but my recent blood test had it up to 70, hence the change of meds.
Most things do! Even a cold, man flu especially!Oh yes, very much so. I have recently had an operation my shoulder, which my DN can also cause a temporary increase in my hba1c.
I have been on this medication from June until now. Now at full dose. Amazing results for glucose control and weight (down 3 stone). Was quite ill for a few weeks each time I increased the dose but it has passed now. I am occasionally sick the day after I inject if I eat anything too stodgy.Anybody else on this? My diabetic nurse just swapped me from Bydureon to this, both a weekly injection, but this is a newer medicine.
