Painkillers + bs readings

Is there a link between painkillers and high readings?

I take regular pain relief for a back problem and my levels are quite high at times. I can't say it's due to the pain as the painkillers are taken at regular intervals to keep on top of the pain.

I've been on a lot of painkillers including methadone and they never affected my bs levels.

Some painkillers can affect levels its worth asking the pharmacist or doctor to look at what you take to see if any of them are causing spikes.
