Pains in head

Hiya

We had a Christmas meal yesterday and my blood
Sugar spiked at 10 and was rising.
I decided to go for a brisk walk to stop it and was 7 within an hour.

I monitored later and managed to keep around the early fives by eating protein.

I am today having some pains in the back of my head that feel like nuralgia. I also ate gluten only a little but even so.

Anyone else get this after a hypo?

Did you actually hypo? Your post suggests not. I would guess the headache could also be due to the rise to 10. If I interpret correctly, you may have by trying to smooth the peaks and troughs. If this is the case, the shoot up to 10 might have upset your equilibrium.

That said, I'm no font of knowledge on RH.
 
The OGTT (2hr) i had 3 years ago gave me a headache that lasted 2 days.
But my bg rose a LOT higher than 10.
I think it was around 17 at its highest, and dropped to 11 at 2 hrs.
I was testing using my own meter throughout.

But i didnt hypo - i didn't go lower than 8 or so before i ate a Full English after the test, in a cafe near the surgery. Lol.
 
I don't think so as once I feel the drop I ate to avoid a hypo and balanced it again. Just wondered if the moves from
Late 4s to 10 has caused me some upheaval.
 
It's not a headache as such more like odd nuralgia like pains. Just like a bit of a throb then it passes. I've had it before and I think it might be more likely to be gluten insensitivity x
 
The constant headache I had during my hypo hell, was behind my eyes across to the temple area. Medium level pain.
 
This is more like a vice like pain in an isolated spot then it stops. Weird but think it is like nuralgia when I have a cold x
 
If you have a cold, like I had man flu last week, it will probably be your ear, nose, throat and sinuses giving you your headache!
 
I suffer with my sinuses anyway but was thinking I had got away with it this year but alas it may be wishful thinking x
