Paradigm 640G waterproof experiences

Hi.
Just about to go on my holiday to Croatia where I am gonna spend most of the time in the water. Have my new pump Medtronic Paradigm 640G this time and it is apparentely waterproof. Does anyone has any experience with it? Do you think it's ok if I swim with the pump? I am a little afraid that I'll destroy the pump - it would be about 7 hours a day in the water...

@Juicyj has a 640G, I think.

I don't but I have a Vibe, which is also waterproof. Personally, I don't want to risk it so I remove it before spending any length of time in the watsr.
 
Hi there the 640g is waterproof however I would call Medtronic customer care and just check how long they recommend in the water as 7 hours is quite a long time I know for a 30 min swim it's absolutely fine. Personally I would also take back up insulin cartridges for your pen too as a precaution in case you do have issues with your pump.
