Hi

Don't know if this link will be allowed by Administrators but it is a link to what NHS England information is giving out regarding online access in April.

All of us with long term conditions are said to benefit from online access...(according to the info)....

Its due to all go live April 2016 for England...Scotland I believe can already access some details. Unsure how it will affect Wales...

yeah, we have this service already, its great.....

typical things you get to see over the whole of your diabetic life are;

HbA1c
Blood Pressure
Total Cholesterol
HDL
LDL
Triglycerides
Creatinine
Albumin/Creatinine Ratio
eGFR

It also lets you see every prescription you have got since diagnosis......

As from April some patients will also see letters from consultants, and free text that the GPs write.
Some GPs are giving full carte blanche access. My old Practice (trialled it with me) and decided to not give access to free text...
Its worthwhile, as if you attend a hospital outside of your normal one and they don't know details... Well you could show them...
