If you are worried about the contents of bought peanut butter, it is easy to make your own. Put de-skined peanuts into a food processor, whiz until a fine powder, add some oil, slowly, (rapeseed, olive or other oil to your own taste). Add a teaspoon of salt and/or honey, blend until you have the right consistency. I use about 250g of nuts to about 5 tbs of oil. You can vary the type of nuts (peanuts, almonds, cashews etc), in whatever proportions you want. Bear in mind that if kept for a few days, the nuts will absorb oil, and so will become "drier" in texture.
