Pedometer Challenge Thread

Haha they'd wonder who the crazy person at the door is! Got my running stuff so quick run yeah?

He did manage to reschedule so will hopefully be here soon..... 9 hours late

hehe they wouldnt mind at all :) glad hes on he way though, sure you could come and run in the rain and wind :) i could use you as a shield like a gentleman

You over estimate my size! I couldn't shield a field mouse haha

His original flight was to heathrow, he rebooked for London City....... But just landed in gatwick. I've given up trying to follow the process!

9045 First day worn for a few days as been I'll :( Better now though :)

T2, Metformin 850 Mg (1 tablet twice daily), venlafaxine 75mg (1 tablet daily), buscopan 10mg (2 tablets 4 times daily)

3241 today. Not left the house and Grumpy has not produced anything for Valentines. Which doesn't surprise because if he had done it would have been a box of chocolates !
 
ive watched the ped often today and it seems to ignore my first 8 steps which sucks because i spend alot of steps stop start all day in work

you need to beat him around the head carra
 
Just did an hour's walk along the Pedieos Linear Park, a park with twin pedestrian/jogging and bicycle tracks following the dry bed of river Pedieos in Nicosia.

Mine misses 5 or 6 steps. I also am rather stop start during the day, but I guess it's just an indication.

I now REALLY want the new fitbit coming out around march time

I've been too ashamed too put my steps count on here when you are all well into the thousands. But on saying that I did say I would like to improve each day by doing 75 more then the previous day and I have achieved that and more daily.

wow, no please don't be ashamed, not at all, every step is great especially when the amount improves, effort is more important than quantity, if someone who has never run before runs a mile and seasoned marathon runner does another marathon who has the greater achievement? definatly the first person, for they put more effort in, it doesn't matter how many you do, what matters is that your doing them, the original thread "one small thing" is the key here, its not a race is a record of hard we try, the fact your doing it all says something, it says you see it as important and thats the key, if a single step is painful but you do it how can this be less significant that a thousand steps pain free, please post you steps :)
 
and you won't be running the risk of me going to your country and steeling your shoes and camera unlike some people i won't mention because they keep beating us
