Pasta, sorry to me it's vile, yeuch lol (and full of nasty carbs)
Fed up ironing and mopping floors.
Ironing is so boring as it is good for insomnia.
Anyone else got a chore they despise ?
I do like to look neat n tidy and not live in a barn lol....awaiting rants

Ironing? What is that of which you speak?

I hate dusting. Haaaate it. I'd rather scrub bathrooms all day long.

I hate washing clothes.

Even using the washing machine.

I have to do it.

Another for me is shopping, especially with the wife. She tends to overspend and put things in the trolley that we don't need!!

Cleaning out cupboards and the oven ( but saying that, I did buy those bags you can put your oven and grill bits in, still messy looking, but far less elbow grease) they did come up surprisingly clean and sparkly. So I will buy them again.

RRB :)

any cleaning. Yuck. Ovens, baths, kitchens. I don't mind cleaning the loo though - weird.

Well ALL lousy chores completed I am popping up to see my big sister and be a vip guest and drop crumbs lol.

Oven bags...need details on where to buy them pls.

I bought the box from Asda, £ 3.99 I think, Oven something.? Place 3/4 of liquid in bag, gloves on, place oven bits inside, seal tight , give the bag a light shake from top to bottom now and then, to coat runners and leave over night. The rest iof the liquid, use to clean bottom of oven. It did work, I didn't want to use the oven after that....... but had too

What are "oven bits"? Are they cleaning charcoals?

Cleaning windows , I can never make them smear free
That blue coloured stuff is ****. I did windows last week and reckon it causes more smears than the dirt on the pane. Fairy liquid in hot water and kitchen roll gets me results.

Big sis is sleeping so made executive decision to get comfy jammies n slippers on. Lashing outside. Another bummer is cleaning bacon off a George Foreman. Miss an eye level gas grill lol

@eddie1968 Thank you for my PM of course you can come round and clean my windows ...how kind lol :p:D:cool::woot:

Thank you for the tip as well x

I have a phobia about ladders. Was on the top part of a step ladder and fell and fractured my shoulder and torn ligaments..
Ouch. Need mega incentive to go up ladders now.

No problems .....just do the insides ....:inpain::p:cat:

......no ladders no risk assessment ....:woot:

That was one really awful fall ....

My house was built in the 1930s and is made of brick and contains no plasterboard. My kitchen is weird, there is a step down and from floor to ceiling it is 12 feet and I was emulsioning the ceiling with a short handled roller as I misplaced my long roller. Silly stuff, DIY is dangerous and it has sunk in.
