After 12 months of very low carbing I've just eaten a pizza 120g of carbs.
Baseline reading was 5.0
I'm going to be doing a 1 hour, 2 hour and 3 hour test.

Can I expect to be below 6 at 3 hours?

may be but what about at 6 hours? good luck and fingers crossed

now there is a question that is hard to answer - you may find peak is at 3 hours you may see a double peak - I sometimes see that with rice. Can't really answer your question as it all depends on your body.
Just enjoy

I won't be having a full pizza again. I actually prefer low carb food these days.
I've had a pizza tonight out of curiosity to see how my blood glucose responds.

Think I'll just test every hour till bed and see if I can identify a pattern.

plot the graph and add it to the thread

We were baby-sitting & my son provided pizzas. I did have 2 small pieces:

My normal after low carb reading is about 8
1 hour after pizza - 9
3 hours - 17
next morning about 6 as usual.

It's the first time I've seen 17 since diagnosis 14 years ago.

Are you diabetic?

I saw 18 once but only been over 10 a few times.

Mine is normally fine until Iaround 9 hr mark If pizza is eaten which is not very often I can have t at 6/7pm bed at 11 stay steady until around 3am and will jump up 10+ it's not worth the hassle of feeling so **** Imo

Lol yeah but I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have!

I really love my low carb food now except for when I'm out and I do medium carb then.
It's hard not to really.
