Thinking of joining the forum but met with Please do not post any links until you have more than 3 posts, as it will be automatically marked as spam by our system.
What on earth does that mean "Do not post until you have posted 3 times" I am 80 and part of the cancelled generation!!
 
Hi @Poshpots welcome to the forum :)

It just means you need to make 3 posts - so I see you’ve already made 2 posts - this one and simple menus one way back in August 2022 - so a couple more and you’ll be able to post links to information from other parts of the internet, for example a recipe :)

Oh, no worries, you can post here just fine. (As you have done). Quite often a new "person" will join, and the first thing they do is post a link to something like CBD or ketone supplements, for instance... Not a real, actual, honest-to-God human who has diabetes, fears they have diabetes, or knows someone who has it, and is reaching out to talk to people who've been there and done that. After you've posted and/or replied a couple of times, the system'll know you're flesh and blood, not some automated system trying to sell people on some snake oil or other. So you can post, just not include any links until you're been very human at least three times. :)

(And I'm a Gen-X... I think the bulk of people born before 2000 were cancelled lately, and we have to stick together!)
 
At the bottom of the box where you write a message it says 'Attach Files'. Do not do that, pressing the button will create a ' link' .

Please don’t worry it’s a precautionary measure taken by the forum host to deter potential nefarious activity from spammers.
Unfortunately, it’s kind of like a “no door to door sales” sign on a door. You might have only popped round on invite for a cuppa tea?

I’m 78 and know what you mean about the “cancelled generation” made me chuckle when I read that.
