It sound good to me, but just so long as I do not become one of your neighbours

Hi, I have three kids with Hypermobility syndrome (I'm the diabetic!) who play the drums as a form of exercise.....their physio therapist was very impressed and said it was a great way to improve muscle tone in arms, legs and core and will also help improve balance. Hope this helps!

Many thanks for the information. Would you be able to advise who are the drum manufacturers / suppliers as havnt purchased as of yet. Do you use them also (as diabetic)?
THANKS and ALL THE BEST TO THE FAMILY.

My neighbour plays the drums daily to help keep his BS down, works ok for him. Make sure you have understanding neighbours though, I`m a musician also so it doesn`t bother me!

Hi, sorry I forgot to come back to this thread.....this is the kit my kids have got
http://www.gear4music.com/Drums-and-Per ... ic-Red/K04
they started off with a borrowed electric kit, but they much prefer this as they can hit it harder and get more passionate about the music! Their music teacher recommended this kit, as I know nothing about instruments or where to buy, etc. They have lessons once a week and practice most days. The kit is six months old so far and has been brilliant, only wear and tear is on the actual skins, so seems to be hard wearing! I don't play myself (I did try but I am absolutely useless) but it is great fun!
