Why would you even be worried about this?

The likelihood that your child develops diabetes as a child (ie T1) is the same as any other child as it is an autoimmune with some potential that it may be triggered by a virus or some other external actor.

Please stop worrying and enjoy your life and the time you will have with your baby.

I don't understand why you are worrying. You and your wife are both healthy and I presume that there is no reason why you shouldn't have a healthy child. Are you worried about any other potential conditions or just diabetes?
 
It is EXTREMELY rare for a child to have diabetes at birth. I really don't think you should worry at all!

I'm not sure why you're even thinking about diabetes. I suggest you chat to your doctor and they'll reassure you : )

I have no idea on what the percentages will be !! But you have much bigger things to worry about than this! like how much sleep you won't have !! haha enjoy the pregnancy, I'm sure everything will be fine, no need to temp fait!

I don't know if this happens,ask your midwife for reassurance but do try not to worry enjoy your pregnancy and gl to you both:)
