Please help!! Waitrose refuse to stock 'LivLife Low Carb Bread'

Hi Simon84
That amount of carbs per slice would mean I can introduce bread back into my diet. I've missed a slice of toast with some peanut butter on. Found a great specialist UK website that stocks organic foods like Chia seeds, Pure Stevia, superfoods, nuts etc. The organic peanut butter is yummy & has no added Palm oil, sugar, salt. or other unwanted nasties. www.beleafinnature.co.uk The pure Stevia is particularly good & I use it to sweeten hot drinks, natural yoghurt & the likes. The prices are spot on too, as is the quality. I've learnt sooooo much since I was diagnosed a month ago, especially from the amazingly knowledgeable members on here. I've never eaten so healthily...which is the moral of the story I expect. Should have ALWAYS eaten well & taken better care of myself. Ain't hindsight a wonderful thing. Anyway, thanks for answering my question hun. I'll be off to Waitrose tomorrow.
Ali.

Hi,

I am sure that you know by now that Waitrose doesn't sell them in all shops but Ocado does. Also, Lidl has now a protein roll which tastes much better and it has even less carbs. I hope it helps!

Hi I've just sent them an email to ask them to reconsider their decision

I tried quite a few low carb breads but didn't think any of them were worthwhile in terms of taste and satisfaction. However, the LIDL high-protein rolls are my go to when I want a bit of toast or bread. Because they are so filling, I only eat a half roll a day but I know some members on here are able to eat a whole one.

Try them if you can.

Was wondering if gluten free bread is ok for type 2 ?

Sad to say, try as I might, I can only manage a quarter of a Lidl roll toasted with butter! Fills me up for at least a couple of hours!

Maybe quite a few have been in touch as its available in the Waitrose near me, bought one last Saturday

Apologies if someone has already posted this, but Ocado is stocking this bread. Just ordered some as I'm keen to try it.
