I like the fact my diagnosis gave me the kick up the backside I needed to get a bit fitter. I go to the gym, twice a week (well OK not for last two week as I've had my gallbladder out and got another three or four weeks before I can get back in there) and in the last year lost about two stone. I've found that since I lost weight, my BS are normally under 6, and at my last visit the nurse said to try and keep under 6.5. I eat a much healthier low carb diet and I can honestly say that I feel 100% better than I did a couple of years ago. I know it's hard to be positive for some people and it took a while to get used to the diagnosis, but I hope it gets easier for those of you who find it hard going. :thumbup:
